Function of PET Granulator Line

A PET granulator line is capable of granulating post-consumer PET bottles into recycled PET granules.

The outut of the granulator line is recycled PET granules.These granules can be used in making new PET bottles used as food and beverage packaging materials.

This line consists of a series of interconnected machine and equipment invovling conveyor belt,plastic crusher machine,screw,high speed friction washing,floating tank,dewatering machine,silo storage.

Process of PET Granulator Line

Above PET plastic recycling granulator machine handles a series of process components including

feeding,cutting,washing and lubrication.The functions of these process components list as follow:

Feeding: The post-consumer PET bottles are first fed into the plastic recycling granulator machine via a conveyor belt.

Cutting: Inside the cutting chamber,the high-speed rotating knives are responsible for cutting the bottles into small flakes. A screen with small holes,between 12-18mm in diameter,is capable of controlling the size of the flakes. These flakes will continue to circulate within the chamber until they are small enough to pass through these holes.

Washing and Lubrication: Spraying water into the cutting chamber serves dual purposes—it washes the flakes and reduces friction,ultimately extending the life of the cutting knives.
